Eric Gottfried, Esq.

Mr. Gottfried brings to Lefkowicz & Gottfried, LLP the valuable knowledge of both law and business management he gained co-founding two separate and equally successful law firms. In 1999, Mr. Gottfried joined with Mark Lefkowicz to form the partnership of Lefkowicz & Gottfried, LLP. His practice focuses on the areas of Automobile Accidents, Slip/Trip and Fall Accidents, Medical Malpractice Claims, Construction Accidents, Other Complex Personal Injury Litigation, Medical Malpractice Litigation, and Internet Litigation.

He is admitted to the State and Federal Court Bars of both New York and New Jersey and has been a guest lecturer on topics like civil litigation and New York legal practice at Baruch College and New York Technical College. Mr. Gottfried is highly regarded in the legal community for his aggressive approach to litigation coupled with the ability to equitably resolve legal matters.

In 1995, Mr. Gottfried co-founded the firm of Napoli & Associates, LLP and there he accepted the position of Associate and Managing Attorney. He litigated a large, active caseload in the areas of medical malpractice, automobile and construction accidents, premises liability and product liability. In 1997, Napoli & Associates merged with another law firm and Mr. Gottfried was named Managing Partner of the new firm, Napoli, Kaiser & Associates, LLP. Mr. Gottfried oversaw the firm's expanding caseload and staff for several office locations.

In 1994, he began his professional career at the Law Offices of Michael Shapiro, P.C. There he focused his practice in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability and mass tort litigation.

Mr. Gottfried studied at Syracuse University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. He then attended New York Law School where he obtained his Juris Doctorate.

Mark Lefkowicz, Esq.

Mr. Lefkowicz brings his knowledge of both law and business management to Lefkowicz & Gottfried, LLP. In 1999, Mr. Lefkowicz formed the law partnership of Lefkowicz & Gottfried, LLP with offices in New York City and New Jersey. Mr. Lefkowicz centers his practice on commercial litigation, transactional real estate, estate planning, and uncontested matrimonial cases. 

He is admitted to both the State and Federal Court Bars of both New York and New Jersey and maintains membership in various other professional associations. Mr. Lefkowicz is respected by clients and peers for his strategic insight, knowledge of the legal process and ability to deliver positive results.

In 1997, Mr. Lefkowicz joined the law firm of Fine, Olin & Anderman where he focused on the practice areas of commercial and consumer litigation, including bankruptcy, debt defense, wills codicils and trust instruments as well as probate proceedings. He began his professional career in 1996 at the law firm of Hamburger, Green & Haber where he gained comprehensive experience in commercial litigation, contract preparation, real estate and landlord/tenant issues.

Mr. Lefkowicz received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton. He then attended Brooklyn Law School where he obtained his Juris Doctorate.
